Sun Valley Resort

Bald Mountain

Baldy is considered by serious skiers as the country's single best ski mountain with 13 lifts and 64 runs. Seven high-speed quads, four triples and two doubles send skiers up 3,400 vertical feet to a summit altitude of 9,150. Recognized for both its absence of lift lines as well as its incredibly light and fast snow, Bald Mountain has terrain for everyone. From glades to bowls, bumps to groomers, tree skiing to easy rollers, this mountain has it all, including a super pipe on the Warm Spring side of the mountain.

Dollar Mountain

The treeless, groomed slopes of Sun Valley's Dollar Mountain have long been ideal for learning to ski and snowboard. With 3 chairlifts and 13 runs, Dollar has gentle terrain mixed with more challenging slopes to allow beginners to progress to more difficult runs as their skills improve. It also has its own halfpipe, terrain park and tubing hill, perfect for a day of activities with the kids.

Dollar Mountain Tubing Hill

Dollar Mountain is the home of Sun Valley Resort's new Snow Tubing Park. Rubber meets the snow in three 600-ft. lanes. The Park is located by the Half-Dollar Lift and is serviced by a new 400-ft surface lift. New customized tubes are used for rides offering nearly 100 ft. of vertical. A fun on-snow activity for the entire family, The Tubing Park is just steps from Carol's Dollar Mountain Lodge so hot chocolate is nearby. The Lodge also provides an excellent buffet, the Sun Valley Snowsports Children's Center and Pete Lane's Mountain Sports.
