Golf

Long days, sunshine, and warm weather make Sun Valley an ideal golf destination. Nestled in the valley, three public golf courses offer the recreational and serious golfer a chance to tee off in one of the nations finest resort areas. Sun Valley offers a championship course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Golf Digest consistently ranks Sun Valley in the top 75 resort courses. Their article titled, "Simply the Best," states "Deliberately unhurried, you can ride, hike, take an ice-skating lesson or attend the opera (symphony). The golf is the best in the state." And it has only gotten better with the opening of the Donald Knott designed White Cloud 9-hole alpine links course in August of 2008. A state-of-the-art, 58,756-square-foot golf clubhouse and Nordic Center overlooks the unique 18-hole Sawtooth putting course.

Each course has its own schedule of clinics, as well as several annual tournaments.
