An explosive solo performance that documents the music, culture, and politics that shaped the Baby Boom generation (1945-1969). BOOM takes us through 25 turbulent years and gives voice to influential politicians, activists, and musicians. BOOM chronologically documents a historical period stretching from that first ‘boom’ of the Atomic Bomb in 1945 all the way to the Apollo 11 landing on the Moon in 1969. Blending cutting-edge multimedia, unforgettable characters and tour-de-force storytelling in a stunningly staged production, BOOM allows you to experience the global events as they unfold: the Cold War, McCarthyism, Beatlemania, Trudeaumania, JFK, MLK, Mao, Vietnam…The various stories spiral into the “The Summer of Love” and BOOM ends as it began: with a new generation born into a new world order. It’s a mind-blowing experience for audiences of all generations, and with 320 performances already, the most presented new touring show in Canada!

Wagon Days @ Various Locations
12:00 am
Welcome to Wagon Days – a magical Labor Day weekend of connection and celebration. A connection to our history and heritage and the days before motorized travel.  A celebration of the lives and livelihoods of people before us that inspired our town on a path to where we are today. Come to Main Street and see the largest non-motorized parade in the Pacific Northwest. Wheels, wagons and western cowboys combine with marching bands and Basque dancers to make this a lively, colorful event.  As the parade ends, we roll from the past into the present with live music at the Street Party on Town Square. Throughout the weekend there will be many activities for you to enjoy – pancake breakfast, a bareback riding demonstration, an arts and crafts festival and an antique fair. Listen to cowboy poets and meandering musicians wandering our streets or shop at our boutiques and art galleries.  With many free children’s activities this is a family-friendly occasion. More than just a fun weekend, this event fosters a sense of place, connects us to the past and hopefully inspires, educates and provide perspectives for the future. The highlight: THE BIG HITCH PARADE | 1pm on Saturday, August ...

Wagon Days Street Party feat. Brandon Lay
2:00 pm
The City of Ketchum is bringing one of country music’s most promising newcomers to town for this year’s annual Wagon Days parade and celebration. This year’s live music event features Tennessee singer-songwriter, Brandon Lay, a member of CMT’s “Listen Up” program for 2019. The CMT campaign spotlights today’s new country artists and has launched the careers of country music superstars. Lay has worked his way up the country music ladder opening for artists like Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley and Old Dominion, and is playing fairs and festivals around the country. Now signed to EMI Records Nashville, he’s able to share his songs on a grand scale. Brandon’s debut single, Speakers, Bleachers and Preachers, was an autobiographical story of his greatest influences and has over 50 million streams. His second single, Yada Yada Yada, became a huge hit on Sirius XM and Top 40 Country radio, drawing large crowds dancing and singing along as Brandon opened on Kenny Chesney’s Trip Around the Sun Tour. Wagon Days 2019 kicks off Friday, Aug. 30, with cowboy poetry in the Ore Wagon Museum and a celebration of this year’s Grand Marshals, followed by a barn dance later in the evening.
