Ali Noorani, Hemingway Writer-In-Resident, and author of “Crossing Borders: The Reconciliation of a Nation of Immigrants,” will be joined by Bob Naerebout, former executive director of the Idaho Dairymen’s Association, and Zeze Rwasama, Director of the College of Southern Idaho Refugee Programs, for a discussion on immigration, particularly here in Idaho. Noorani’s book is based on interviews around the world and investigates the politics and policies of immigration. It shares strategies designed to stem the tides of fear and hate, finding trails that lead to the reconciliation of our nation of immigrants. Their conversation will be moderated by the Library’s director, Jenny Emery Davidson. Registration is recommended, as seating is limited. This program will also be livestreamed on the Library’s Vimeo. A book signing with Noorani will follow.
