Hikin’ Buddies is Back! Every Wednesday starting June 1 through the end of August. At Hikin’ Buddies, you can take a shelter dog for a hike, or hang out and socialize with some of the smaller dogs. It is a great opportunity to meet some of Mountain Humane’s adoptable dogs as well as to learn more about the organization. All are welcome to join in throughout the summer, weather permitting. No appointment is necessary; just bring your family and friends to have a good time with some dogs that would love to meet you! Meet at Adam’s Gulch trailhead from 9:30-1:00 on Wednesdays. The last program in our Sawtooth Forum and Lecture Series! An 8-week series expanding our understanding and appreciation of the Sawtooth country. This is the 15th year of hosting the summer speaker series, and we have a great lineup this year as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and the 50th anniversary of the Association! Join us at 6pm every Friday, July 8 – August 26 at the Stanley Museum Lawn, right off Highway 75 between Stanley and Lower Stanley. Mountain Humane is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, themed “Treat, Play, Love” to honor our beloved pets. Please join us for a weekend of celebration! A local favorite, Jeff Crosby, will be kicking us off with a live concert on our event patio at the MH campus in Hailey on Friday, September 23. The fun continues Saturday, September 24, with pet parades and costume contests at Roberta McKercher Park in Hailey and Town Square in Ketchum. We will wrap up the celebration with organized “pack” hikes throughout the valley on Sunday, September 25. Keep your ears perked for concert ticketing information and event details. We are excited to celebrate with you!
