For over 42 years, the Killebrew-Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament has gathered members of Congress, celebrities, corporate sponsors and supporters in Sun Valley, Idaho with one common goal: to find a cure for cancer. The event proceeds benefit two recipients: St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute in Boise, Idaho and the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. We are proud to share that the contribution from the 2018 tournament reached $1 million. Due to the dedicated commitment of our supporters, the tournament has now raised more than $17.6 million for cancer research. Our beneficiaries leverage these funds 3 to 5 times their value through various matching grants, maximizing the impact in the development of life-changing cancer treatments and therapies.
The 43rd annual Killebrew-Thompson Memorial is slated for August 14-17, 2019 with some exciting new activities including fly-fishing and shotgun sports.
