The Alturas Institute announces a change of venue and the sale of tickets for a special session with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in response to the extraordinary interest in the 2020 “Conversations with Exceptional Women,” held in Sun Valley, September 1-2.
“A Conversation with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg” will be held at 2:30 p.m., September 2, at the Sun Valley Pavilion. Tickets for this session are $100. Lawn seats, featuring big-screen televisions, are $25. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. on March 12 on the Alturas Institute website. We expect these tickets will sell quickly.
Current ticket holders for “Conversations with Exceptional Women” will be given preferred seating for the session at the Sun Valley Pavilion, and will bear no additional cost.
While we cannot accommodate anyone else wishing to attend “Conversations with Exceptional Women,” held at the Argyros Performing Arts Center, due to the fact that the event sold out in mere minutes, we are delighted to change the venue for the session with Justice Ginsburg as a means of providing hundreds of more people throughout Idaho and across the nation a rare opportunity to listen to the iconic RBG.
This year’s theme, The Higher Ground, will afford speakers a chance to discuss their personal and professional aspirations and those they believe Americans should pursue.
In addition to featuring U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Dr. David Adler has curated an extraordinary program, including recipients of the Nobel and Pulitzer Prizes, award-winning authors, film directors, actors and producers, an Olympic Gold Medalist, and female leaders from the world of national security, high finance and academe, among others.
