Slack Show #7 is coming for you!!! We know you definitely didn’t get enough rock this last week nor did many of you get enough pop/funk, so we are throwing you a night of musical juxtaposition. Local rockers Blackadaar are Joined by Portland pop/funk trio Butter for a night of dancing and potentially headbanging. For sure a bit of rowdiness. There may be a coin toss to see who goes first because they both crush so hard. Here are the details.

WHO#1: Blackadaar: No one really knows how this band came about – a hodge podge of parts and pieces of other boy bands somehow came together with the singular idea to just plain rock. Their debut show in August at the Hot Water Inn & Hostel sent shock waves through greater Warm Springs, Ketchum, and maybe Hailey area that our valley wants the rock. They somehow clanked their way past the weekly 10:01 noise ordinance, and only prompted 2 ambulance calls – both heart attacks… They are going to do it all again, you may want to be there.

WHO #2 Butter This band rules – straight out of Portland (thats in Oregon) with their poppy funk vibes – they will have you moving. Somehow we have become a stop off point for these guys. It may be the free place to stay and occasional frozen pizzas we give them OR it may be the fact that Ketchum shows up, dances and gives them a good show! I like to believe the latter, but both are true. I know you will dig them, so you should definitely come.

Here is a tune for ya:

WHAT: A night of juxtaposing music that will get you so stoked you may need some antacid.

WHEN: Saturday as in this Saturday NOV 3rd 9pm sharpish.

WHERE: Hot Water Inn (Base of Warm Springs). If you have never been here it will be one week later when you do.

WHY: Because we need fun things. Or we can call it and all move to Boise or Portland or Elko.

HOW: Hitch a ride from the bus – Bring an ID (this is a 21+ show) and $7 donation to the bands.

It will rule.
