The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation (SVSEF) will host its 43rdannual Wild Game Dinner and fundraiser on November 15, 2019 in the Limelight Room of the Sun Valley Inn. A time-honored tradition since 1966, the event that began as a way for ski team families to celebrate the start of the ski season holds true to its roots today. The dinner is an opportunity for families and friends to reconnect, and to take a moment to reflect on the value and heritage that snow sports hold in this community. Proceeds from the event support local SVSEF athletes and enable any child wishing to participate in snowsports to do so. SVSEF subsidizes 40% of program costs, and, thanks to generous donors, is able to provide over $300,000 in need and merit-based financial aid to qualified athletes.
The western-themed evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with Warfield Distillery & Brewery signature cocktails, Schuss Golden Ale (brewed by SVSEF and Warfield) and silent auction bidding, followed by dinner and a paddle up auction. Guests will enjoy a full meal prepared by Sun Valley Resort, followed by dancing to tunes provided by DJ SweetPea. Seating is limited, with 400 tickets available at $150 each through October 15, and $175 each thereafter.
