Sun Valley is off and running to one of the best starts to winter in recent years. Receiving over 20" of snow in the past week Bald Mountain is cloaked in a blanket of white. Today the Sun Valley Ski Patrol dropped the ropes on Christmas Bowl, Ridge, Blue Grouse and Cut Off and will be opening the Warm Springs side of the mountain for skiing on Saturday.
