Sun Valley Set for Snow Filled Christmas!

It's been an interesting start to the ski season for most of the west with warm dry conditions, however Sun Valley has experienced a good series of events which have brought over 50" inches of snow that has covered the mountains and Nordic trails priming them for perfect holiday ski conditions.  Tuesday, December 16 Sun Valley dropped the ropes on the bowls and skiers flocked to throw plumes of powder and shout great whoops of joy as the morning produced amazing conditions.  The North Valley Nordic trails from the SNRA all the way up to Galena Lodge and its surrounding system is open and skiing fantastically.  Over six feet have fallen in the Lodge area this winter and the backcountry skiing off the pass has been stable and seeing great lines pop off the alpine peaks typically not seen until late winter.

So with all of the deals on lodging and airfare as well as boarding pass specials once you get here, you've got to ask yourself, "What am I waiting for??"
